Creusabro® 8000, the most versatile ultimate version
One plate, all challenges: Creusabro® 8000 takes on wear, strength, temperature, and moderate corrosion.
Stronger under pressure. Smarter against abrasion, the ultimate version
Creusabro® 8000 isn’t just a high-hardness plate, it’s a technically advanced wear solution engineered to outperform conventional 500HB steels by 50 to 150% in service life.
What makes it different? A finely tuned metallurgical recipe combining chromium, nickel, molybdenum, coupled with a controlled oil-quenching process, gives Creusabro® 8000 its unique edge. The result: a bainite-martensite microstructure enriched with retained austenite and fine micro-carbides, making it resilient to both impact and sliding wear.
Thanks to its TRIP-effect (Transformation Induced by Plasticity), Creusabro® 8000 hardens in service by +70 HB under pressure, adapting where abrasion hits hardest, while remaining ductile at its core.
Ideal for extreme applications like mining buckets, crusher liners, truck bodies, vibratory feeders, and recycling tools, this steel brings higher performance, easier workshop handling, and long-term savings, even at elevated temperatures up to 450°C.
